Blackpool manager Ian Holloway says he will not be rushed into making additions to his squad ahead of their debut season in the Premier League.
Holloway has yet to make any signings since the club won promotion in May.
"We're doing lots and lots of things but there's nothing in the papers yet and there won't be for quite a few weeks," he told the club website.
"I've got the chairman looking at 16, 17, different players, asking clubs about them and what they'd accept."
Holloway's side were promoted from the Championship after beating Cardiff City 3-2 in the play-off final.
And the former Plymouth Argyle and Leicester City manager says he wants to retain the spirit that saw the club secure victory at Wembley.
"What I want to do is get the characters right because I don't want to lose what we've got here, I think it's really special," he said.
"The lads deserve other people coming in with the same attitude, not just to pick up money.
"They'll have to come for the right reason, which isn't their wage packet - it'll be wanting to play in the Premiership for Blackpool."
