Taylor-Fletcher has made 97 appearances for Blackpool
Blackpool striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher says he will do everything possible to stake his claim for a regular place in the Seasiders' starting line-up.
The 28-year-old scored twice in Blackpool's 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Tuesday - his first start since facing Sheffield United in October.
"I'd only played about 55 minutes in eight weeks since the Sheffield United game," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"I worked hard for my chance and hopefully I've taken it."
The Liverpool-born player has made 12 appearances this season, scoring five goals in the process.
But with manager Ian Holloway keen on team rotation, Taylor-Fletcher accepts no-one is guaranteed to play week-in, week-out.
"The squad we've got at the moment is down to the barebones," he said. "But we've got a good team and players who can play in a lot of positions.
"There's only a few players and positions who you'd say are nailed down, but the manager likes to chop and change and give the opposition something to think about."
