Gow made two appearances for Rangers before moving to Blackpool

Striker Ben Burgess believes Blackpool could reap the benefits if Alan Gow continues to impress for the Seasiders.

The pair scored in the midweek victory over Derby and Burgess feels the loan-signing from Rangers has already made a major impact at Bloomfield Road.

Burgess told BBC Radio Lancashire: "I said to him midway through the first half 'wow, you're brilliant'.

Burgess is sure there is more to come from the 26-year-old Gow before his loan deal ends in January.

"We know how good he is and we think the two of us linked up well together," he added.

"He is a good finisher and his all-round play is good which helps us to play well."
