Blackpool have re-signed Southampton midfielder Simon Gillett on loan until the end of the season. Gillett, 21, had a successful 15-game loan stint at Bloomfield Road earlier in the campaign, and since then had spent a month on loan at Bournemouth.
However, fellow midfielder Jamie Burns, 22, has left the Seasiders to join Morecambe on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell.
Burns made 60 appearances for Blackpool since his debut in August 2002.
