PSV Eindhoven director Jan Reker insists the club will bring Blackburn's 34-year-old centre-back Andre Ooijer back to the club this summer.

Ooijer has not signed a pre-contract deal with PSV and Blackburn could offer him an extension to his current deal, which is up at the end of the season.

But Reker said: "The fact Andre will play for PSV next season is definitive.

"Andre only needs to take his medical and that will happen after the end of the season."

Dutch international Ooijer left PSV after a nine year spell to sign for Blackburn in August 2006.
