Blackburn have signed defender Jonathan Flynn from Irish League side Ballymena United for an undisclosed fee. The 18-year-old is Rovers first recruit in the January transfer window and has joined on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Ballymena boss Tommy Wright said: "In my opinion Jonathan is the best teenage defender I have seen in the Irish League for some time."
Flynn, a Northern Ireland Under-19 international, had a trial with Blackburn earlier this season.
