Greek champions Olympiacos handed Blackburn a heavy pre-season friendly defeat in Germany. Rovers were 2-0 down by half-time and showed few signs of recovering, and to add to their woes, keeper Peter Enckelman was injured in the warm-up.
Pantelis Kafes thumped home the opening goal and Rivaldo helped set up Pedrag Djordjevic for the second before Aaron Mokoena missed a chance for Rovers.
Yiannis Okkas, Michalis Konstadinou and Yiannis Taralidis wrapped up victory.
