Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has brought in Eddie Niedzwiecki from Arsenal as his first-team coach. Bangor-born Niedzwiecki, 45, spent four years as Arsenal's reserve-team coach.
The former Chelsea goalkeeper worked under Hughes during his time in charge of Wales, and has also had coaching spells with Chelsea and Reading.
"Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Eddie for his contribution during his time at the club," said a statement on the Arsenal website.
Niedzwiecki confirmed he will continue his work with Wales for October's two World Cup qualifiers against England (9 October) and Poland (13 October).
