Blackburn were 3-1 up when Turkey international Tugay curled a cross towards the far post and Hammers youngster McCann.

But instead of clearing the ball to safety, he sliced the ball horribly into his own net.

Tugay then got on the scoresheet himself when he latched onto a pass from substitute Craig Hignett some 30 yards from goal.

With one touch, he unleashed a powerful right-foot drive into the top corner to cap an impressive overall individual and team performance.

As for McCann and his West Ham colleagues, conceding 12 goals in two consecutive away games has left them with plenty to ponder.
