Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor believes the club has a bright future despite relegation to the Championship.
Sunday's 4-1 win over Blackburn was not enough for Blues to hang onto their Premier League status but Taylor told BBC WM he is optimistic about a return.
"It's only the second time now and we bounced back at the first time of asking last season.
"It was always going to be difficult this time but, ultimately, the responsibility lies with the players."
There were angry scenes at St Andrew's on Sunday following Blues' relegation with supporters calling for the board to resign.
We experienced it last year but the sides coming down will be tough to beat but we think we can do it

Many fans are blaming the protracted failure of Carson Yeung's takeover of the club as a reason for their failure to stay up.
And Taylor admitted the club's off-the-field issues did cast a shadow over matters on the pitch.
"There were other things going on which didn't help," he added.
But he is bullish Blues will be among the contenders to come straight back up.
"We'll certainly be looking to achieve that. We experienced it last year but the sides coming down will be tough to beat but we think we can do it."
