The 19-year-old's contract was due to expire in the summer but the club have agreed to cancel the deal early by mutual consent.

He made five appearances for the reserve side this season but failed to impress enough to break into Alex McLeish's first team.

Burge was a product of the club's youth system and was a former academy scholar at St Andrew's.
