| Young midfielder David Howland has signed a one-year professional contract with newly-promoted Birmingham City. The 20-year-old Northern Ireland under-21 international featured regularly for Birmingham's reserves during the past four seasons. Howland was handed a first team squad number for the first time this season. One-year professional contracts have also been offered to Birmingham youngsters Asa Hall, Nick Wright and Adam Legzdins.
