Birmingham goalkeeper Colin Doyle is ready to fight to keep his first-team place at St Andrews next season. The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland international played a key role as Steve Bruce's side won promotion from the Championship last season.
"It is up to the manager whether he sticks with me or brings someone else in," Doyle told his club's website.
"But hopefully I will be in the team for the first game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 11 August."
