| Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce has paid tribute to Sebastian Larsson whose late goal knocked Shrewsbury Town out of the Carling Cup. The 21-year-old Arsenal loanee also scored last weekend's injury-time winner against Crystal Palace. "I have been absolutely delighted with Larsson, the value of him is that he can play anywhere," said Bruce. "We knew after watching him at Arsenal that he is always capable of scoring a goal, I think he got six last year."
