Birmingham City managing director Karren Brady is out of hospital after an operation on a brain aneurysm. Brady, 36, spent time in intensive care at a North London hospital following the surgery last Friday.
A statement by the club said: "Karren Brady is now out of hospital and recuperating at home following her successful surgery last week.
"Karren is expected to remain at home for the next few weeks before returning
to take the helm at the club."
Brady took up her role at St Andrews in 1993 and helped the Blues maintain their status as a Premiership club after promotion in 2002.
In her absence, commercial director Perry Deakin and financial director Roger Bannister have jointly taken over her responsibilities.
