Peat brings with him a wealth of Third Division experience

Former Albion Rovers, Arbroath and Forfar goalkeeper Mark Peat has signed up for Berwick Rangers.

The 27-year-old turned out in Saturday's 4-2 win against a youthful Hibernian team at Shielfield Park.

Peat began his career at Aberdeen, without ever making an appearance for the first team at Pittodrie.

He spent the final three months of last season at East Stirlingshire, having been loaned out by Montrose, where he had been for two campaigns.
