Barrow co-manager Dave Bayliss has confirmed he is considering signing cover for injured midfielder Andy Bond.
Bond, 22, picked up a knock in Saturday's FA Cup first round tie with Eastbourne Borough and Bayliss admitted a loan signing is a possibility.
"We've got to wait and see, we've got a decent squad and if need be we can also get people in on loan," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We've got a couple of players to look at and we've got emergency loans."
Meanwhile Barrow were handed the potential of a trip to Brentford if they can beat Eastbourne in the replay at Holker Street.
However Bayliss is keen to keep his players focused on their league campaign.
"We've got a massive league game on Saturday and after that we'll concentrate on Eastbourne," he said.
"After the league game is finished then we'll concentrate on the cup but the minute you start looking too far ahead then you slip up.
"Even if we do beat Eastbourne it's a big ask beating Brentford."
