Barnsley winger Martin Devaney has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract at Oakwell.
"I am really pleased to have signed. To stay at Barnsley is fantastic for me," he told the club's website.
"My time here has been very, very successful and I have really enjoyed it. Hopefully we can all push on to more success in the Championship."
Manager Simon Davey said: "I am delighted to get another player tied down to a long-term contract."
Devaney, 28, joined Barnsley from Watford in August 2005.
He has since made 149 first-team appearances for the Tykes, scoring 18 goals.
Davey added: "Before he picked up an injury, Martin was really hitting form for us this season.
"He is a player who has all the attributes to be an excellent performer at Championship level and is a real match-winner on his day."
