Barnsley manager Simon Davey has requested a personal hearing from the Football Association after admitting a charge of improper conduct.
The Reds boss was charged following his side's controversial 2-1 loss to Sheffield United on 8 November.
Davey was sent to the stands by referee Andy D'Urso following the linesman's decision to award a Blades penalty in the closing stages of the game.
Barnsley Football Club will not make any further comment at this stage.
The game was overshadowed by the horrific injury suffered by Barnsley striker Iain Hume.
The 25-year-old suffered a fractured skull and internal bleeding after a challenge by Sheffield United's Chris Morgan.
