Macken expects a big improvement from the Reds

Barnsley striker Jon Macken is confident that he and his team-mates will turn around the club's poor start to the season.

The Reds have just one win so far this term but Macken says he does not expect the club to remain in the bottom half of the Championship table for long.

"We're very close to getting something that's very good," Macken told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"Some of the football we've played so far has been excellent."
