Colace has been training with Barnsley since July

Barnsley have finally gained clearance to sign Argentine midfielder Hugo Roberto Colace from Newell's Old Boys.

The Tykes are yet to receive full clearance from the Football Association but have been granted provisional clearance by Fifa.

Colace is now available for Barnsley's clash with Blackpool next Saturday.

The 24-year-old has endured a frustrating start to his career in England as he was also unable to feature for Barnsley's reserves.
