Steele faces a tough job in his debut appearance for Barnsley |
Barnsley boss Simon Davey has signed West Brom keeper Luke Steele on loan. Davey made his move for Steele as Heinz Muller is injured and Tony Warner, who is on loan from Fulham, is cup-tied.
The 23-year-old, who is third-choice keeper at the Hawthorns, is now in line to face Liverpool at Anfield in the fifth round of the Cup on Saturday.
He has started just two games for West Brom since signing from Manchester United in August 2006 but has previous loan experience with Coventry City.
