Barnsley goalkeeper Nick Colgan has had a transfer request accepted by Oakwell boss Simon Davey. Colgan, 34, has been at the club since joining in June 2004 and has gone on to make 114 first-team appearances for the Oakwell club.
Barnsley manager Simon Davey told the club's website: "Nick has requested to leave. We have accepted his request."
The Republic of Ireland international has been relegated to the bench by summer arrival Heinz Muller.
Colgan started his career at his hometown club Drogheda in Ireland before joining Chelsea.
