Barnsley have extended the contracts of defender Bobby Hassell and wingers Martin Devaney Robert Atkinson, with all three commiting until 2009. Since joining the club from Mansfield in 2004, Hassell, 26, has established himself as a key figure at Oakwell and has been stand-in captain this season.
The 26-year-old Devaney has made 41 appearances for the club and scored six times this season.
Atkinson, 19, has made seven first-team appearances this season.
