Barnsley are giving a trial to Hungarian international midfielder Peter Simek. The 27-year-old made his international debut in November 2003 as a substitute against Estonia and has played nine times for his country.
Simek began his career with Videoton, before moving to Gazszser, Vasas, Ujpset, FC Fehervar and Poli Timisoara.
Barnsley manager Simon Davey told the club's website: "Peter and is finally with us and will train this week."
