 Devaney's stay at Watford was a short one |
Watford winger Martin Devaney has joined Barnsley on a free transfer without playing a game for the Hornets. Devaney, 25 signed for Watford from Cheltenham in July when his Whaddon Road contract expired.
The left-sided player who scored 43 times in 226 games for Cheltenham has signed a two-year deal with the Tykes.
Boss Adrian Boothroyd told Watford's website: "Martin was left as fourth choice for a place, I always look to be open with my players."
