Relegation-threatened Grimsby have completed the signing of Barnsley striker Isaiah Rankin. Rankin, 25, has agreed a deal until the end of the season following a month on loan at Blundell Park.
The former Bradford forward has scored twice in six games during his spell with the Mariners.
Meanwhile, former Newcastle, Bradford and Cardiff midfielder Des Hamilton has left Grimsby after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.
