Barnet midfielder Neal Bishop is likely to miss their festive matches after fracturing his jaw at the weekend.

Bishop, 27, was kept in hospital overnight following Saturday's 2-2 draw at Darlington.

The Barnet captain was not aware of the injury received after being accidentally kicked in the face during the match.

He was staying in the north after the match and later went to hospital after the team had returned to London.

Barnet physio Mark Stein says he will definitely miss the Christmas games against Aldershot on 26 December and Bournemouth on 28 December and faces the possibility of being sidelined until the New Year.
