Barnet have exercised their option to keep top scorer Adam Birchall at the club for another season.

The 23-year-old former Arsenal striker hit 15 goals for Barnet in the last campaign, making 48 appearances.

Barnet have also extended the contract of 26-year-old Neal Bishop, who had been reluctantly placed on transfer list at the end of the season.

Right-back Ashley Carew, 22, is the third player to have been given an extension by the club.
