Barnet striker Giuliano Grazioli will miss the start of the season with a knee problem. A scan showed Grazioli, 32, needs minor surgery to release soft tissue in his kneecap on an injury suffered while out running during the close season.
Grazioli told Barnet's website: "It's a niggle and disappointing I'm missing out on the start of the programme."
Also, keeper Lee Harrison will miss Saturday's friendly against Crystal Palace after tweaking a hamstring.
Boss Paul Fairclough is now looking to bring in another goalkeeper before the weekend.
