Barnet have transfer listed centre-back Simon King after he turned down a new contract at Underhill. The 24-year-old, who joined Barnet from Oxford United in 2003, can leave the club on a free transfer in 2008 so the Bees have decided to sell him now.
Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous told his club's website: "The manager Paul Fairclough and I did everything we could to persuade Simon to sign.
Fairclough added: "Should he leave it will be a great loss."
