The Football Association has reappointed Barnet manager Paul Fairclough as coach of the England National Game XI. The position was advertised after Fairclough's contract with the FA expired in December.
But the FA will now keep the incumbent boss who recently guided England's Under-23 non-league side to victory in the European Challenge Trophy.
Chairman Tony Kleanthous said he was happy for Fairclough to take the job.
