 Robert Connor has lost his job at Ayr United |
Struggling Ayr United have sacked manager Robert Connor and his assistant Robert Reilly. The Somerset Park side have slumped to eighth in Division Two after losing their last four matches.
Connor, who had two spells as a player with Ayr United, was made manager of the club in May 2005.
Connor first took over on a temporary basis in March of that year, following the resignation of Mark Shanks, and he saved the Honest Men from relegation.
