Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor limps off against Everton
Gabriel Agbonlahor is to have a scan on the hamstring he injured in the 3-3 draw against Everton on Sunday and does not know when he will be fit again.
With Emile Heskey also injured, Aston Villa have only one experienced forward, John Carew, fit.
Agbonlahor said: "It felt pretty sore against Everton and I came off because I did not want to make it any worse.
"There is something wrong but I don't know what. We'll have to wait for the results of the scan."
Villa manager Martin O'Neill revealed that Agbonlahor had missed two days of training before the game with a virus.
"He had not been feeling great," said O'Neill. "But we always knew he wanted to come out and play.
"This is one of the big things about him, Ashley Young, and a number of the other lads - they want to play.
"When Gabby came off, his hamstring was sore. Everything was wrong with him in terms of not being physically fit for the game but he still did great. That is the kind of character he is."
