| Aston Villa have signed teenage Austrian goalkeeper Thomas Dau on a three-year contract. The 16-year-old impressed on a recent trial at the club and will link up with the Villa Academy team when he gets international clearance. "We definitely think he's one for the future," Academy director Bryan Jones told the club website. "He was on trial with us for two weeks and we were all very impressed with him," he added.
