Centre-back Curtis Davies insists he is ready for his Aston Villa debut after scoring in his first reserve outing. Wednesday's 4-1 win over Derby was the on-loan West Brom defender's first competitive game since March.
"The more games I play like that, hopefully the sooner I'll get in that first-team," he told Villa's website.
"Now I'll keep working hard in training, keep trying to impress and hopefully I'll get the nod. I've come through 90 minutes quite comfortably."
