O'Neill says Berger can fight for his place | Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill says Patrik Berger is welcome to stay at the club and try to regain his place. The 33-year-old has returned from a loan spell with Stoke after being disciplined for a breach of club rules. "His agent mentioned the possibility of him going somewhere abroad for the last few months. If that materialises, fine," O'Neill told the club's website. "If he just gets his head down here and if he is doing well enough, then he will be back in contention."
