Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill has revealed that Crystal Palace and QPR have enquired about a potential loan deal for midfielder Lee Hendrie. Former Villa boss John Gregory, now manager of the Hoops, joins several other clubs in chasing O'Neill for the unsettled 29-year-old.
O'Neill said: "There are a number of teams who are looking to take Lee on loan, he can go wherever to get games.
"John Gregory has inquired and Palace have maintained an interest in him."
O'Neill added: "I wasn't the one who instigated the possibility of him going out on loan. It seemed as if his agent wanted that.
"But even so, I am not in disagreement with him because he can go - wherever that may be - and get games."
