Goals from Liam Ridgewell, Gareth Barry and Gabriel Agbonlahor continued managerless Aston Villa's impressive pre-season form at Molineux. Ridgewell opened the scoring after a neat exchange with Kevin Phillips before Barry doubled the lead with a quickly taken, curling free-kick.
Wolves legend Steve Bull featured and almost found the net early on.
But Agbonlahor completed the rout for Villa on 66 minutes after latching onto a fine through ball from Wilfred Bouma.
