Aston Villa striker Milan Baros has played down reports that he wants to leave the club in the summer. The 24-year-old has a buy-out clause in the contract he signed when he joined Villa for �6m from Liverpool last year.
Reports have suggested he will look for a move after the World Cup finals but he said: "It is not true I am unhappy here. I don't regret joining Villa.
"I am an Aston Villa player and it is useless to speculate about what will happen in July in the middle of April."
The Czech Republic striker has scored 10 goals for Villa this season and says he just wants to focus on his own form.
"I will concentrate on Villa's last six fixtures and then on the World Cup," he added.
"I don't want to think about anything else at present. It would not be fair on my team-mates and the club and we want to finish this season well."
Villa boss David O'Leary said: "We don't want Milan to go but if the get-out clause was invoked it would mean the club making a substantial profit on the fee we paid to Liverpool.
"Milan has had a good goal return this season in terms of a goals and games ratio, despite having a niggling injury early on and settling into a new club. I think he will do even better next season."
