Djemba Djemba has been linked with a move to Spain |
Aston Villa's Eric Djemba-Djemba has insisted he will leave Villa Park after the African Cup of Nations. The 24-year-old is currently away representing Cameroon in Egypt and has criticised boss David O'Leary for his treatment of French-educated players.
"There is no doubt I will move to Spain after the African Cup of Nations," the midfielder told Ouest-France.
"At Aston Villa I have found a coach who hasn't understood all the smoothness of French football."
With the transfer window due to shut in a week's time and the African Cup of Nations not set to finish for another two weeks, Djemba-Djemba's plans for a move may prove difficult.
Although representing Cameroon at international level, Djemba-Djemba learnt his trade in France and moved to England from Nantes.
The former Manchester United midfielder has failed to impress in the Premiership since arriving at Old Trafford in 2003.
Since joining Villa in the January transfer window last year, Djemba-Djemba has made just 10 appearences.
