![]() | Thursday, 6 July, 2000, 16:58 GMT Coventry agree fee for teenage striker ![]() Jay Bothroyd (left) in action for Arsenal's academy side Coventry have agreed a fee for Arsenal's promising teenage striker Jay Bothroyd. Bothroyd, 18, was transfer-listed by the Gunners in May after he threw his shirt at the bench after being substituted by Don Howe during the FA Premier Academy League play-off final against West Ham. After the incident, Arsenal's head of youth development Liam Brady said: "We will not tolerate this behaviour. He is not wanted at this club any more."
