Eduardo uncertain of return date
Eduardo receives treatment
Eduardo receives treatment after the tackle by Birmingham's Taylor
Arsenal and Croatia striker Eduardo says he does not know how long it will be before he returns to action.

The 25-year-old suffered a fractured left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle after a tackle by Birmingham's Martin Taylor in February.

"I am walking on crutches but I am feeling well, there is no pain," he told Croatian paper Jutarnji List.

"Some say the recovery will take half a year, some say I'll be playing in nine months, others say 15 months."

Eduardo also revealed he is set to miss Croatia's World Cup qualifier at home to England on 10 September.

"That would be too soon. Yes, I will play against England but in the return game in September 2009," he added.

Eduardo will have his leg in plaster for the next six to eight weeks before beginning a rehabilitation programme.

Arsenal have said they believe he will be able to start running again in six months, although they expect him to be on the sidelines for nine months.
