Barnsley's on-loan goalkeeper Vito Mannone has returned to Arsenal to have a knee injury assessed. Tykes boss Andy Ritchie told the club's website: "Vito has a slight problem with his knee so he was not involved at the Stadium of Light.
"Vito has gone back down to Arsenal in order to let their medical staff have a look at him."
The 18-year-old former stopper joined Barnsley on a three-month loan deal back in August.
