Arsenal warmed up for Tuesday's Champions League qualifier against Dinamo Zagreb with a convincing friendly win over AZ Alkmaar. Gilberto put the visitors ahead on 34 minutes with a back-post header from Jose Antonio Reyes' free-kick.
Reyes was also involved in the second goal just after the break when his pass led to Emmanuel Adebayor slotting home after Gilberto's shot was parried.
Robin van Persie added the third from the penalty spot on 74 minutes.
Arsenal take on Zagreb in the first-leg clash in Croatia on Tuesday night.
