Reyes, 21, has agreed a six-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2011, while 19-year-old Clichy's future with is secured until 2010.

Spaniard Reyes had been linked with a return to his homeland but will now add to his 66 appearances and 17 goals for the Gunners since joining in 2004.

France U-21 international Clichy has played 46 times for the Londoners.

Reyes said: "I am so happy to have extended my contract with Arsenal and I'm looking forward to having many more successful years with the club.

"I'm working hard in pre-season training at the moment and am getting ready for next season, when I will do my best to help the club challenge for all the available trophies."

Clichy was similarly delighted to have signed a new deal.

"I hope too that we will win trophies next season and that I will have the opportunity to prove to the club and the fans that they were right to give me a new contract," he told Arsenal's website."

The news that the pair have committed themselves to the club will be a welcome boost on the day that skipper Patrick Vieira signed for Juventus.
