Gunner Reyes urges Real interest
Arsenal winger Jose Antonio Reyes
Jose Antonio Reyes is confident Arsenal will let him sign for Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old striker has struggled to settle in London and has repeatedly stated his desire for a summer move.

"Of course I would love to play for Real Madrid. I have already said so, but now I'm at another club and an agreement has to be reached with them.

"If they are interested, it's important they speak to Arsenal. If they speak to Arsenal there will be an agreement," he told Spanish daily Marca.

I feel I have to persist with him - he has so much talent and is still so young
Arsene Wenger, Arsenal boss

Reyes, currently on international duty with Spain, joined Arsenal from Seville in 2003 but has previously spoken of being homesick.

Recently he fell victim to a hoax in which he was tricked by a radio presenter into saying he would like to move to Real.

He added he has also made the Gunners aware of his troubles in getting to grips with life in England.

"It's not because of the team or the people because to play soccer it's incredible.

"With the people there has never been a problem. But it's true I've never adapted to the climate, the language and I think that's fundamental for me.

"I've been able to speak to the chairman and to speak to the coach and I have told them everything.

"I hope they (Real) are making an effort for me, that they are looking at me, that they speak to my club and that they aren't given many problems."
