The figures, announced by Arsenal Holdings plc on Friday, was up on the 2003 figure of 2.9m.

The club made a 2.2m profit after taxation compared to a 4.9m loss in 2003, a figure which pleased Arsenal non-executive chairman Peter Hill-Wood.
