Aldershot boss Terry Brown has confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Ricky Newman. Newman, 35, played 29 League games for Brentford last season, helping the Bees to the play-offs before he was released at the end of the campaign.
Brown told Shots website: "Ricky is to become an Aldershot player and that is great news for the club.
"He is a real battler and organiser who will certainly stand up to be counted, and I'm delighted he's signed."
