Accrington manager John Coleman has admitted he is concerned by the number of lacklustre performances from his players this season.
Despite having virtually guaranteed their place in League Two, Coleman is adamant changes need to be made to turn Stanley into a promotion-chasing side.
"We've got quality, but not enough quality," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"If we're going to improve we need better players. But our objective right now is to improve on last season."
Coleman admits he needs to focus during the summer on improving the mentality of his players.
"We've got a self-destruct button and until you get better players in who are more consistent you're always going to have the same problems."
Accrington only need a draw against Barnet at the weekend to be assured of their place in the Football League next season.
